The heart of any high-revving 500 hp supercar, the turbo determines a good portion of your car's power band. Make sure to tune the correct stage turbo with the overall power of your car, or you'll be left over with gobs of turbo lag.

The Stage 1 Turbo Kit usually offers about a 10 percent increase in horsepower. Most of it is available at low RPM's, but you'll notice it throughout.

The Stage 2 Turbo Kit usually offers about a 20 percent increase in horsepower, most of which is available at low-mid RPM's.

The Stage 3 Turbo Kit usually offers about a 35 percent increase in horsepower, most of which is available at mid-high RPM's.

The Stage 4 Turbo Kit usually offers about a 125 percent increase in horsepower, most of which is available at high RPM's only.

An intercooler resembles a radiator: it houses large passages for the intake flow, and uses either outside air or water to lower the temperature of the intake flow inside. In other words, it adds a lot of horsepower for a relatively low cost.

A very nice power increase for the money, as long as your car is turbocharged.
