LISTER INTRODUCTION:
The first Lister sports racer was designed in 1954, by Brian Lister, and the company's race cars - essentially converted Jaguars - found success at grand prix races both in England and the United States competing against companies such as Aston Martin and Chevrolet.
Lister unveiled two cars at the legendary Le Mans in 1958, one of which placed 15th. From 1959 until the 1980's, Lister cars retired from competitive racing. The company renewed its racing heritage in the early 1990's, designing and all-original car dubbed the Storm that launched in 1933. The emergence of GT racing as the world's premier driving arena in recent years had provided ideal timing for the Lister Storm GT1 contender to return to the scene.
